Kundalini breakthrough

My favorite moment of this kundalini nature retreat was not the transformative experience in the sweat lodge, releasing and singing and praying to elders, crawling on my hands and knees in the mud, crying in fetal position in complete surrender to forgiveness as the heat of the sweat lodge lit my back on fire as I kept my face close to the ground, literally sipping in the coolness of the earth for reprieve from my mouth burning with every inhale, the disillusionment of my demons and fears, of suffocation and symbolic claustrophobia, introducing myself to the fire through prayer and tobacco and knowing that my name is really the whipping sound of the fire itself, journaling in a hammock after a three hour kundalini yoga rebirthing class, showering naked outside under a tree watching a sunset above the water, or my first moon cycle offering to the earth. I’ll speak more to all of that... ↠

It was the serendipitous delivery of cosmic humor during the last supper... imagine a completely silent dinner table of people who are like blissfully wrung out towels, one person speaking at a time on their final reflections, the seriousness of the moment..... with the musical soundtrack of Bhajan Akal Singh and @redwonderjp in a loud and epic tantric bodywork session in the next room; screaming, laughing hysterically, moaning and banging. The rest of that liberated wildness is all part of this spiritual journey, and there’s no reason to choose a favorite breakthrough. There is, however, absolute necessity in seeing the humor in everything, in polarity with the weight of this whole human thing. ↠

Many thanks to Bhajan Akal Singh, Swaranpal Kaur, Sherry Kunanate Vigdor, Rebecca Antsis, and Vivian for this unforgettable experience.
